iMMAP France is an association governed by the law of 1 July 1901, currently based in Marseille, France. iMMAP France has been registered since September 2008 under the number: W952002856 / SIREN number: 818428104. Since September 1, 2016, iMMAP Inc., based in the United States and iMMAP France are affiliated under the name iMMAP. This allows both organizations to align their strategies, skills, resources and visions.
The mandate of iMMAP France is to provide information management services to partners facing the challenges of humanitarian aid and development aid. The purpose of the association is to alleviate the suffering of victims of natural disasters and armed conflicts by providing the humanitarian community with a decision-making service through the provision of recent, reliable and appropriate geographical and strategic information. The association also aims to provide an information management service for development assistance, sustainable development, and environmental protection.
In 1998, iMMAP was formed around the Survey Action Center (SAC) and the Global Landmine Survey (GLS), in the tradition of the Vietnam Veterans’ Foundation (VVAF) Banning landmines and the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize.
For more than 18 years, iMMAP’s services have facilitated informed and effective management of emergency response, disaster risk reduction activities and development activities. Our services facilitate evidence-based decision-making for NGOs and government actors. iMMAP sits in Washington DC, US and Marseille, France. In 2008, iMMAP joined the Stand-by Partnership Programme. In the same year, iMMAP opened an office in Europe, creating iMMAP France. Since September 1, 2016, iMMAP Inc. and iMMAP France are affiliated as iMMAP, enabling both organizations to align their strategies, skills, resources and visions.
iMMAP FR is currently led by Christophe Bois, and the Vice President is William Barron. The remaining staff and board are currently under review. Country directors are shared with iMMAP US.

Below is the overall result for the fiscal years 2012 to 2016. The budget for 2017 is forecasted and based on information available at the end of 2016. iMMAP France’s funds mainly come from European donors and from the United Nations Joint Fund.
