IMMAP Colombia was originally opened in 2009, and after a hiatus in operations was reopened in 2016.

For the past year and a half, the office has managed COSUDE funds as an implementing partner in the UMAIC project, an innovative Information Management Unit led by a Board of Directors including the UNDP Country Director, OCHA Head of Office, and Resident/Humanitarian Coordinator, to produce a series of standard products for both the UNCT and HCT. This project has been showcased as a case study to implement situational awareness and New Ways of Working, and includes staff from IMMAP, OCHA, UNDP, Caritas, FAO and UNWomen.

In addition to work with UMAIC, IMMAP has also worked as an implementing partner with IOM’s DTM of Venezuelans in Colombia.
