Amani is a project manager based in Iraq. She is responsible for the overall implementation of a project aiming to support the Ministry of Higher Education and Research as well as the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in creating an online system that will increase Iraqi youth accessibility to the labor market and serve as a virtual space for engagement between Iraqi youth, educational institutes and the private sector.

Prior to joining iMMAP, Amani was a program manager for the EU Delegation to Yemen for nearly a year. Prior to that, she worked with GIZ as a participatory development technical advisor and AVSI Foundation as a project manager for nearly three years. She was also the secretary general for Architecture San Frontiers International for four years and a project architect with IDS in Jordan for five years.

Amani holds a Master´s Degree in Building and Urban Design in Development from the University College London, UK and a Bachelor´s Degree in Architecture Engineering from the German Jordanian University in Jordan. She is fluent in English, Arabic and German.
