Amr Kambal is currently the Country Representative for iMMAP in Ethiopia. Prior to this position, he was the Country Representative in Nigeria. He brings field experience in areas of policy work, implementation, and result-based driven information management and services development.
He has worked extensively in humanitarian settings, identifying needs and monitoring responses, and in early recovery and resilience settings, working on inter-agency collaboration and inter-agency platforms. Prior to this position, Amr has worked for 16 years with, UNHCR Refugee response in Egypt, Humanitarian Response Forum with WFP Cambodia, Cross border Mobile population in Djibouti and Ethiopia, and also with WHO and UNDP in Sudan.
Mr. Amr holds MSc degree in Geo-informatics from Linkoping University in Sweden.
