Elise is the senior advisor for the civil society organization (CSO) platform project focusing on the Lake Chad Basin and the project lead for the Nigeria INGO Forum PLRCAP program based in Marseille, France. She is responsible for delivering the CSO capacity strengthening program and establishing an information management (IM) system to increase engagement with CSOs in the recovery and stabilization across the region.

Prior to joining iMMAP, Elise founded and currently directs Ascenteum LLC, which provides strategic management consulting specialized for civil society organizations. Prior to that Elise worked with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) for over 12 years as a senior advisor, general counsel, and the director of policy in both Nigeria and Switzerland.

Elise holds a bachelor’s degree of Arts focusing on Economics from St. Anselm College and graduated as a Juris Doctor from the school of law at New York University, USA. She is fluent in English and French.
