Habtamu Gulilat is an information management officer seconded by iMMAP to the Shelter/NFI Cluster in Ethiopia.
He was previously deployed by iMMAP as an IMO to the Protection Cluster of Ethiopia.
Before joining iMMAP, he worked for 10 years with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) Ethiopia as a GIS Specialist. During his 10 years with IRC, he conducted multiple GIS, GPS and mobile data collection tools training for various INGOs and local government officials under projects funded by USAID.
Given his skills and experience, Habtamu is an expert on geo analysis. He received an award certificate from ESRI as Special Achievement in GIS in 2012 as a consequence of his successful implementation of GIS techniques for humanitarian applications.
He holds an MA degree in Geo-informatics from ITC in The Netherlands.
