Janet is iMMAP’s country director for Ethiopia. She is responsible for the supervision and management of all in-country personnel, programmes and policies. Furthermore, she oversees finance, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, staff safety and security, human resource management, and representation in Ethiopia.
Janet has worked in the private sector in the UK and Ireland. However, she has been long involved international NGOs such as Save the Children and Goal. She has held senior management and advisory positions both at the headquarters and in-country missions. She also is a board member and Chair of Personnel Committee for the NetHope Network, aiming at improving connectivity between humanitarian organizations.
Janet holds two Master’s Degrees, as an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and in International Development from the Open University, in the United Kingdom. She also holds a Diploma in the Senior Executive Programme from the Irish Management Institute. Janet speaks English and French.
