Jason is the accounting manager at iMMAP Inc. in Washington D.C., responsible for the month and year-end close processes, including reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing journal entries, and generating financial reports that comply with U.S GAAP standards. He also maintains the general ledger and works closely with the finance department to ensure compliance with U.S and international donor requirements.
Jason has 8 years of experience helping to grow and develop strong accounting processes and procedures. Prior to his role at iMMAP Inc., Jason served as a General Ledger and Accounts Payable Supervisor for a government contractor, where he implemented new accounting software to streamline day-to-day activities. Jason's valuable experience includes advising clients during critical situations, such as PPP loans.
Jason holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and economics from the University of South Carolina and is currently working towards his CPA license. Fluent in English, he is also actively learning Portuguese.
