Food Security and Livelihood Coordinator - Jordan


Joseph is iMMAP Jordan’s Food Security and Livelihoods Working Group Coordinator for northeast Syria. Joining iMMAP in June 2021, Joseph is leads the food security and livelihoods programmatic needs in northeast Syria, from the development and oversight of sector activities to liaising with donors and engaging with local authorities.

Prior to joining iMMAP, Joseph gained over a decade of experience in the humanitarian sector, working with Mercy Corps, International Rescue Committee, and Norwegian People’s Aid. Through his years of experience, Joseph developed a plethora of skills, including project management, context analysis, access mapping, capacity building, and donor compliance. Joseph throughout his career developed expertise in cash-based programming, fundraising, and humanitarian negotiation.

Joseph holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Lebanese International University, as well as International Program Management Degrees like the PMP and PMDPro.

Joseph is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
