Juan is the Senior Data Analyst at iMMAP Colombia.
He is a creative strategist with the ability to articulate and plan systems to measure success utilizing performance management and impact evaluation methods. Extensive experience working on innovation topics including data management, digital solutions to financial inclusion, civic participation, experimental design for public policy, and econometric impact evaluation of development programs. Before joining iMMAP, he worked as a private consultant for international and local NGOs. He also has experience working at the National Planning Department (DNP) in the supervision, formulation, and implementation of territorial planning and development policies or the implementation of performance management or impact evaluation instruments.
Juan holds a Ph.D. in International Relations concentrating on Development Economics and International Political Economy, a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance, and an L.L.B in Public Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Universidad de Los Andes.
