Kedir is an information management officer (IMO) based in Ethiopia. He is responsible for collecting and organizing data for the Nutrition Sector to produce and disseminate information products on program results.
Prior to his current position, Kedir was an IMO seconded by iMMAP to UNHCR and the Protection Cluster in Afghanistan for nearly three years. Kedir has over 11 years of experience in the field of GIS working with several UN Agencies such as WFP and FAO as well as academia.
Kedir holds a Bachelor Degree in Applied Geography from the University of Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, a Graduate Degree in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Applied Sciences of Berlin in Germany, and a Masters Degree in Geography and Environmental Studies Specialization in Climate change and Adaptation from the University of Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. He is fluent in English and Amharic.
