Nuredin is iMMAP's information management officer, currently seconded to OCHA in Ethiopia in the Jigjiga field office
Prior to his current role, Nuredin was part of the iMMAP Ethiopia team deployed to the Ethiopian Public Health Institute, in charge of reporting and analysis development and training. He successfully concluded his assignment by implementing a mobile-based online surveillance system for the Public Health Emergency Management (PHEM).
His work experience includes Data Analytics and GIS Manager, IT Project Manager, and Junior System Analyst and System Administrator at ATA in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. Besides, he was Database Manager at Columbia University ICAP Program, and Programmer at Hillmark Ethiopia Software & Consultancy, also in Addis Ababa.
He holds a Masters in Computer Science from the Hilcoe School of Computer Science & Technology, Ethiopia, and a Bachelor in Software Engineering from Microlink IT College, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
