Oni is an information management officer (IMO) based in Nigeria. He is responsible for mapping the existing IM initiatives and CSO capacity strengthening programs across Nigeria while focusing on humanitarian, development and peace initiatives to build potential connections for the iMMAP CSO mapping exercise.
Prior to his current position, Oni was a strategic information lead with iMMAP. Oni has extensive experience working with information management and data. Prior to joining iMMAP, he was with Premiere Urgence Internationale as an IMO for six months, with Center for Family Health Initiative as a strategic information assistant and lead for nearly two years, and strategic information and data lead with the Evergreen Initiative and Poverty Action Initiative for two years.
Oni holds a Bachelor of Science focusing on Microbiology from the University of Ilorin and is currently completing his Master´s Degree in Public Health from the National Open University in Nigeria. He is fluent in English, Yoruba and Hausa.
