Tersoo Yaji joined iMMAP Inc. in October 2021 as an Information Management Officer within the Humanitarian Information Analysis Unit (HIAU). Demonstrating exceptional proficiency, he ascended to the position of Senior Information Management Officer in 2023. His key responsibilities encompass mapping assistance coverage, crafting timely information products, standard format development, rigorous partner data analysis, and fostering collaborative engagements with OCHA and other stakeholders.
Preceding his roles at iMMAP Inc., he held pivotal roles, including Data Analyst/State Facilitator/Territorial Officer at UNICEF U-Report24x7 and Deloitte in Northeast Nigeria. He also served as a Data Analyst at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for over five years.
He holds a Master’s degree in Information Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Physics from the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria. Tersoo is fluent in English and Hausa.
