Yousif serves as the country security advisor for iMMAP Iraq, where he is responsible for monitoring the security situation throughout the country. In this capacity, he conducts a comprehensive analysis of security incidents, threats, and potential vulnerabilities that may impact iMMAP's operations. Additionally, he oversees the updating of security guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all programs adhere to iMMAP's global operating principles and risk management policies.
With over 22 years of experience in security, Yousif has worked for various NGOs, security firms, and companies prior to joining iMMAP. He has gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field, which he applies to his current role.
Yousif is fluent in both English and Kurdish.
