iMMAP Holds Humanitarian Information Management Training in Maiduguri


During the week of March 26-30, iMMAP held its first round of training and capacity building activities in Maiduguri, for humanitarian partners responding to the crisis in the north east region of Nigeria. The purpose was to capacitate the humanitarian responders to leverage and optimize information management to effectively respond to the humanitarian crisis.

Facilitated by iMMAP, in collaboration with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), the training was attended by 31 humanitarian responders from nine humanitarian sectors, including Health; Education; Protection; Shelter; Water; Sanitation and Hygiene; Food Security; Early Recovery; and Multi-sector.
