Crop Monitoring and Food Security Situation Update in North East Syria

Using the iMMAP Data Cube and field based-ground truthing, the 30-plus page study report presents the impact and results of water scarcity on the 2020-2021 winter cropping season across northeast Syria. The report delves into various aspects, including northeast Syria’s overall vegetation cover, agriculture production, water scarcity and its influence on crop land cover changes, and threats to its food and livelihood security.
