Thematic Report 8: Population Dynamics and the Impact of HLP on Return and Integration of IDPs in Northern Aleppo

The population of the Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch territories in Northern Aleppo has changed dramatically in the past decade due to large scale displacement from and to the region which has significantly impacted the landscape for housing, land, and property (HLP). This report explores how displacement has shaped the current population and examines the role that existing and historical HLP conditions will play in prospects for durable solutions.
