Cansu joined IMMAP in April 2022 to strengthen iMMAP's Stand-by Partner Program (SBPP), a surge mechanism designed to provide information management expertise for additional support to the United Nations partners and UN-led clusters to enhance the capacity to respond to emergencies and humanitarian crisis.
Cansu worked both within the UN and non-profit sector and in various capacities such as project support and management, event planning and administration. Before joining iMMAP, Cansu worked for The World Bank, IFRC and UNWFP.
Cansu holds a master’s degree in International Trade Law from University Essex and a bachelor's degree in International Relations and Global Politics from the American University of Rome.
