Umar Yahaya joined the iMMAP Inc. Nigeria team in December 2022 as an Information Management Officer. He provides technical support to humanitarian operations across the BAY states through iMMAP Inc.’s Humanitarian Information and Analysis Unit. Prior to joining iMMAP Inc., he was a Health Management Information System Specialist and Data Analyst at Palladium in Bauchi state for three years and nine months. He also worked at UNICEF Nigeria as a Data Analyst for three years.
Umar holds two Master’s Degrees, one in Information Management from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State, and the other in Public Health at the Maryam Abacha American University of Niger, Maradi, Niger Republic. He also obtained a Post Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Kaduna state, Nigeria. Umar Yahaya speaks English and Hausa fluently.
