iMMAP and DG-ECHO Sign Framework Partnership Agreement

iMMAP France is now eligible to apply for DG-ECHO funding and provide Information Management Support to humanitarian actors




On April 4, 2019, iMMAP France became an official partner of the Directorate General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG-ECHO).

iMMAP France and DG-ECHO signed the Framework Partnership Agreement, aiming at establishing the basis and ethical values for future collaborations. iMMAP France is now eligible to apply for DG-ECHO funding and provide Information Management (IM) support to humanitarian actors, contributing to better management of information and therefore to better programmatic and strategic decisions for an improved humanitarian response.

iMMAP France is a not-for-profit association registered in Marseille, France in 2008. iMMAP France provides information management support to multiple actors such as international and national NGOs, UN Agencies and grassroots organizations to improve the management of information in humanitarian and development contexts allowing these counterparts to take better decisions to reach better outcomes.

The Directorate General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG-ECHO) is a Department of the European Union working in humanitarian and civil protection contexts. The EU Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations department has been providing assistance to people in need since 1992. Its annual humanitarian budget is €1 billion, helping over 120 million people each year.
