Simon is a member of iMMAP's Global Security Team, in charge of implementing security policy and procedures at field level.
Before joining iMMAP, he spent ten years at Handicap International as EOD/IEDD operator and Project Manager, running Mine Action projects in various locations Including Libya, Iraq and Gaza. Prior to that, he had positions in multiple organizations in the areas of law enforcement and security in Somalia, South Sudan, Kosovo, UK, Tunisia, Libya, Syria. Simon was also an expedition member and explorer on various Arctic expeditions, and a military and civilian Communications Engineer.
He holds various qualifications in Security, Health and Safety and Project Management.
