Samuel Ajoka is a part of iMMAP Inc.’s Humanitarian Information and Analysis Unit as an IMO. He is responsible for managing the organization's information system and gathering and analyzing data to inform decisions. He also provides support and analysis to help partners and stakeholders understand data. Samuel has extensive years in data sciences and systems administration.
Before joining iMMAP Inc., he was the Scientific Officer/System Administrator for the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) for 18 years and has occupied various roles before then, such as the Data Processing Officer for the Nigeria Army University Biu (NUAB) for one year, IT/System Engineer for Techxia Technologies Limited for five years, and Data Analyst for Youth Integrated for Positive Development Initiative (YIPDI) for four years in Borno State, Nigeria.
Samuel holds two Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Engineering, and Agricultural Economics from UNIMAID, Nigeria. He speaks fluent English and Hausa languages.
