Bassine is an Information Management Officer seconded to the Global WASH Cluster Field Support Team. In her role, she is responsible for supporting the Cluster to respond to the needs of the most vulnerable populations who require adequate and safe access to water, sanitation and hygiene services through effective and efficient coordinated response activities.
Bassine has extensive experience in information management. Prior to joining iMMAP Inc., Bassine worked as an IM specialist with various organisations such as OCHA West & Central Africa (ROWCA) in Senegal, UNICEF Mali and most recently with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).
Bassine holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Dakar Polytechnic College and is fluent in Wolof, French and English.
