Belay is an Information Management Officer working in support of OCHA´s Information Management Unit (IMU).
His past work experience includes a wide range of GIS-related positions at organizations such as the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), Halcrow Group Limited and Generation Integrated Rural Development Consultants, Lahmeyer International, the Environmental Support Project, and the Ethiopian Mapping Authority Department of Remote Sensing (EMA).
Belay has a Bachelor Degree in Physics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Application of GIS for Environmental Analysis
