Geographic Information System (GIS) Officer
Chidubem Joseph Okonkwo is a Geographic Information System (GIS) Officer based in Sokoto state, Northwest Nigeria. His role entails information visualization, conducting geospatial analysis, coordinating data collection, management, and integration, and fostering collaboration and training.
Before his current role, Chidubem worked at Mitsio Motu as a Senior GIS and Cartography Consultant in the Republic of Togo for four years. He also spent five years at Triple E Associates Limited in Lagos state, Nigeria as a GIS Consultant.
He holds a Master’s degree in Remote Sensing & Geographic Information Science from the African Regional Institute for Geospatial Information Science and Technology (AFRIGIST) in Ile Ife, Osun state, Nigeria. Chidubem speaks English and Igbo.
