He is an independent humanitarian consultant with over twenty-eight years of professional experience as a humanitarian information manager with the UN and NGOs in the field.
Christian is an internationally recognized expert in information management, emergency needs assessment, analysis, data visualization and humanitarian coordination. Throughout his career, he has been involved in several large-scale humanitarian operations, including natural disasters and complex emergencies. He has also been a facilitator of a large community of practice with IMOs from a variety of organizations for many years.
He has contributed to innovative ways of reporting, monitoring and evaluating the impact of humanitarian action in different contexts and has coordinated the development of several strategic documents for the humanitarian and development sectors.
Christian speaks fluent English, French and Portuguese. Christian was also a member of the UNDACC.
