Hiba is the GIS Officer for IMMAP Inc. in Yemen. She provides mapping support using geographic information system technology including high quality mapping, spatial analysis, and interactive online maps. She is also a capacity building trainer in GIS for Information Management Officers (IMOs) in clusters and UN agencies in Yemen.
Prior to joining iMMAP Inc., Hiba had 14 years of experience in GIS technology for several companies and organizations such as international Rescue Committee, ACTED, Royal Geographic Center and the Royal Society for the conversation of Nature in Amman.
Hiba holds a bachelor’s degree in surveying & geomatics Engineering from Al-Balqa Applied University, As-salt, Jordan. She is fluent in Arabic and English, and has a beginner level in Turkish.
