Africa Desk Coordinator
Laura is the Africa desk coordinator based in Marseille, France. She is responsible for coordinating project development and program implementation activities in the Africa region, as well as capitalizing on iMMAP Inc.'s previous and ongoing projects in Africa.
Laura has over 14 years of working experience in the humanitarian and private sector, and over a decade in managing humanitarian operations on the ground. She worked with MSF as Head of Mission, Project Coordinator and Logistician and with INSO as Country Director, both mainly in Africa with a couple experiences in Afghanistan and Lebanon. Laura has experience in programme management, security crisis management, humanitarian operations coordination, advocacy and humanitarian affairs, construction planning and management, architecture, and logistics.
Laura holds a Master's Degree in architecture from the IUAV University of Venice. She also holds a MA in International Affairs from King’s College London and a Diploma in Geopolitics and Global Security from the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI). Laura is fluent in Italian, English and French.
