Information Management/Capacity Building Officer
Rabiu Muhammad is iMMAP Inc.’s Information Management (IM) and Capacity Building Officer based in Nigeria. He contributes IM expertise to the capacity building initiatives in the country. Rabiu also leads the coordination of thematic training activities to various partners and sectors and supports the capacity development of iMMAP Inc.’s Interns across Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe states.
Prior to his current position, Rabiu was a Junior Capacity Building Officer and an IM Intern at iMMAP Inc. Before his time at iMMAP Inc., he served as a Computer Engineer at Defense Industries Corporation of Nigeria for one year and worked at ACTED as a Field Data Enumerator for another year.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Maiduguri in Nigeria and is certified in Spatial Analysis, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Basics and GIS for Climate Change, all by ESRI. Rabiu is fluent in English, Hausa, and Arabic.
