Global Surge Communications Officer
Pierre joined iMMAP Inc. in March 2023 as the Global Surge Communications Officer. He is responsible for communicating on the activities of the Surge and its deployees through articles, social media posts and other contents. Pierre is also part of iMMAP Inc.'s Global Communications team and is responsible for ensuring that all communication and visibility outputs are aligned with organizational and donor requirements.
Prior to joining iMMAP Inc., Pierre worked for over 6 years as a journalist focusing on migration and international security issues in France and abroad. During his time as a journalist, he covered a wide range of topics including the aftermath of the wave of terrorist attacks in Europe, migration crises in Calais and on the border between France and Italy, as well as several conflicts.
Pierre holds a Master's degree in Political Communication from Paris IV - Sorbonne and a Master's degree in International Security from Sciences Po Paris. He is fluent in English and French.
