Ronald is an information management officer (IMO) based in Malawi. He is responsible for supporting the UNRC office in Malawi, the Department of Disaster Management Affairs and the humanitarian clusters in data collection, cleaning and analysis together with geodatabase management, GIS, cartography and spatial analysis to strengthen the IM process in the humanitarian response across the country.
Ronald has seven years of working experience with humanitarian organizations and academic institutions. Prior to joining iMMAP, Ronals was a study team leader for ICAP at Columbia University for the HIV Impact Assessment based on the Malawi population for two years. Prior to that, he worked with Save the Children as a monitoring assistant also for two years. He further worked with WFP as a monitoring assistant and data entry clerk for three years.
Ronald is currently completing a Master´s Degree in Geoinformatics from Mzuzu University in Malawi. He holds a Bachelor´s Degree in Physical Planning from the University of Malawi. Ronald is fluent in English and Chichewa.
