Ross is a mine action information management (IM) technical advisor for iMMAP Inc. Iraq, based in Erbil. He provides high quality technical inputs on IM and GIS for the success of the project in building local mine action authorities’ capacities to collect, verify, store, and analyze mine action and related data in the fulfillment of their duties.
Ross is a seasoned expert with over 15 years of experiences in IM and GIS. He has worked in the private sector with Tetra Tech, WSP, Projen Capita and Cyfor e-Forensics in UK and Syria as a cell site analyst and GIS expert. He has also served as a geographic technician in the British army for 13 years.
Ross holds an FDSC in Applied Computing from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK and is also a Military Engineering Geographic Technician Class 1, graduating from the Royal School of Military Survey in the UK. He is fluent in English and French.
