Shimaa is a project manager for iMMAP Inc. Iraq. She oversees the organization and execution of all project-related tasks. In particular, she ensures that these actions are monitored in accordance with iMMAP Inc. requirements.
Shimaa has over four years of experience in the humanitarian and development sectors. Prior to joining iMMAP Inc., she worked with INTERSOS as a Protection and Project Manager in Libya and Nigeria for one and a half year. Before that, she worked with Handicap International as a victim assistance and risk education project manager for one and a half years. She also worked as a multi-sectoral project manager (health, non-formal education, MHPSS and financial aid) for Première Urgence Internationale for one year.
Shimaa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Jordan. She is fluent in Arabic and English.
