Vincenza is a Protection Analyst seconded to the Global Protection Cluster. She provides regular, robust context updates and technical support to Protection Analysis field operations.
Prior to joining iMMAP, Vincenza gained several years of experience in data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, grants, communications, and fundraising with international NGOs WeWorld and Terre des Hommes in Tunisia, Libya, Syria, and Jordan. Vincenza is also familiar with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, for which she worked as an information management officer in Nairobi, and with the Red Cross movement, which she supported as a monitoring and evaluation officer in Togo. Vincenza also participated in a remarkable fundraising effort, cycling over 4,000 km from Tunisia to Italy to raise visibility and funds for ´ResQ People Saving People´, an NGO that rescues migrants crossing the Mediterranean.
Vincenza holds a graduate degree in International Cooperation (Development and Emergency) from the Italian Institute of International Political Studies in Milan, and a diploma in Fundraising for Non-Profit Organizations and Associations from the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, Italy. She also holds a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages and International Communication from the University of Salento, Italy. Vincenza is fluent in Italian, English and French.
