Afghanistan: Multi-Sectoral Dashboard for Humanitarian Response Services (March 2023)

The number of people reached by various humanitarian services in Afghanistan decreased from 16.4 million in February 2023 to 10.3 million in March 2023. As of March, a total of 254 projects were active, 48 of which were related to the COVID-19 response. The WASH Cluster reported the largest number of people served (4.6 million). The Health Cluster has the largest number of active projects (98) and reported the largest number of locations/sites where different health activities were conducted (5,755), while water is reported as being addressed by WASH Cluster partners with 510 services/activities primarily for non-displaced drought-affected people (response) - urban or peri-urban.

This dashboard provides a snapshot of 5W data in Afghanistan as reported to ReportHub by implementing partners during the period. By analyzing and visualizing information related to projects, activities (including COVID-19-related activities), and services to beneficiaries, the dashboard aims to assist humanitarian actors in Afghanistan by helping them to identify patterns, trends, and gaps in their responses. This information can be used by partners to inform their decisions related to either re-aligning, re-programing, or planning their projects and activities.
