Abdoul Karim Sow is an iMMAP Inc. information management specialist deployed as WASH Information Manager - Helpdesk and Surge Support to the Global WASH Cluster (GWC). Before its deployment to the GWC, he was in secondment to the Nutrition Cluster in South Sudan.

Abdoul Karim Sow is a professional with nearly 15 years of experience in information systems and technologies including eight years of experience working in the humanitarian aid sector working with OCHA, the Office of the Resident Coordinator in Cameroon and UNICEF. During his humanitarian experience, Abdoul Karim worked with OCHA at the West and Central Africa regional office where he was a member of Emergency Rapid Response (ERR). He was deployed in Burundi to support the office with information management and for MIRA (Multi-sectorial Initial Rapid Assessment). He was responsible for the helpdesk and capacity building roles for the Online Reporting System (ORS) platform for the nine Sahel countries. He was deployed to support the Resident coordinator offices in Burkina Faso and Mauritania. Abdoul Karim was the first OCHA Information management officer deployed to Cameroon for the Northwest/Southwest crisis. During his assignment to the Resident Coordinator's office in Cameroon, he supported the United Nations System M&E working group where he developed many tools to monitor the progress of the SDGs. With UNICEF in Central Africa Republic, he was the information management specialist of the WASH Cluster where he assumed the role of cluster coordinator.

Abdoul Karim holds a Master’s Degree in IT audit, information systems and engineering. He is fluent in English, French, Wolof and Peulh.
