Carlos Vicente Ramírez García is the Financial and Administrative Officer and the Legal Representative of iMMAP in Colombia. Since joining iMMAP, Carlos has overseen and contributed to the start-up of iMMAP operations in Bogota, Colombia in response to the crisis in Venezuela. He has also been in charge of preparing financial proposals for several donors including USAID, IOM, World Bank, and UNICEF. Moreover, as legal Representative, Carlos acts as the signatory for iMMAP operational activities, liaises with external legal counsel as needed, maintains registrations with applicable authorities, and monitors tax compliance.
Carlos is a Certified Public Accountant with over 22 years of national and international experience in the field of auditing in both the private and public sector. Before joining iMMAP, he worked at Espiñeira, Sheldon and Associates, and Price Waterhouse Cooper firm as an external auditor, and he also worked at Empresas Polar as an internal auditor.
Mr. Ramirez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a specialization in Tax Management from the Catholic University of Tachira State in Venezuela.
