Global Surge Finance Officer
Eugenia is the Global Surge Finance Officer. She is responsible for monitoring project financials, working on financial proposals for donor agencies and preparing the reporting to donors. She also prepares financial forecasts and assists in the oversight of projects and deployments under the Surge umbrella.
Prior to joining iMMAP Inc., she has been working in the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAW), managed by UN Women, as a Budget and Operations Officer performing management and control functions of financial project implementation, financial reports verification, analysis of grantee trends over different donation cycles and support in oversight of external audit processes. She also worked in UNESCO in different departments, from Budget Monitoring and Reporting under the Bureau of Financial Management, to Grants Management in the Bureau of Strategic Planning, and to Program and Operations Financial Advisor in the Global Education Monitoring Report in the Education Sector.
Eugenia holds a Master's Degree in Project Management from Rome Business School in Italy, and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from Complutense University in Madrid, Spain. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
