Friba is a Human Resources (HR) Manager based in Erbil, Iraq. She ensures that all proper processes, contracts, and formalities are implemented in accordance with iMMAP's global policies for iMMAP staff, while providing managers with candidate screenings.
Friba joined iMMAP in 2017 as an HR assistant. Prior to joining iMMAP, she worked with organizations such as Swedoo, Norwegian Refugee Council, DAMA, and ACTED for almost two years in various roles. She has experience in strategic human resource planning, performance management, staffing, employment contract, benefits, compensation and payroll in humanitarian settings and projects.
Friba holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and Mineral Management and a Diploma in English Language, both from Hawler University of Kurdistan (UKH) in Erbil. She is fluent in English, Kurdish, Turkish and Arabic, and has a working knowledge of French.
