Gabriel is the country representative for iMMAP in Yemen. He is responsible for defining a vision, strategy and plan for the implementation of iMMAP´s information management support to clusters in Yemen. He oversees the programmatic, financial and human resource divisions of the Yemen mission.
Prior to his current position, he worked with iMMAP as a project manager, an information management officer (IMO), a program officer and legal representative for Colombia and a GIS officer. Gabriel has extensive experience with information management where he worked with OCHA for three years as the head of the information management unit.
Gabriel holds a Master’s Degree and a PhD in Geophysics from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from University of The Andes in Colombia. Gabriel is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
