Gashaw is an information management officer based in Ethiopia. He is responsible for the production and delivery of timely and accurate information management products and services.
Gashaw has over 11 years of experience. Prior to joining iMMAP, he was an IMO for the Food Cluster at WFP for two years and an associate economist at the Ethiopian Development Research Institute for two years. Prior to that, he was a monitoring and evaluation coordinator at John Hopkins University for two years. He also worked as a programmer and statistician at the Central Statistical Agency of Ethiopia for four years.
Gashaw holds a Master´s Degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Turku in Finland and a Bachelor´s Degree in Statistics from the University of Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. He is fluent in English and Amharic as well as knowing basic level of Finnish.
