Hany is a information management (IM) technical advisor, based in Nigeria. He is responsible to support the development and implementation of the humanitarian technical advisory program in Nigeria.
Prior to his current position, Hany was an IM coordinator with iMMAP supporting the WHO Yemen and UNICEF MENARO programs for nearly two years. Hany has extensive experience with IM and geographic information systems (GIS) working with UN agencies and international NGOs for over 14 years.
Prior to joining iMMAP, Hany worked with IOM as a senior IM expert for three years in the Central African Republic and with UNDP as an IM coordinator for two years in Lebanon. He also has experience working with REACH, Spatial Statics and World Organisation for Animal Health.
Hany holds a bachelor of science in computer science from AUCE in Lebanon and a master of science specializing in GIS and Cartography from the University of London, UK. He is fluent in English, Arabic, Armenian and French.
