Jeyda is the Global Communications and Outreach Manager, based in Turkey. She has extensive experience in the field of communications, implementing digital media strategies and communications campaigns.
Prior to joining iMMAP, she worked in Turkey, Syria (cross-border programming) and South Sudan in various development and emergency response programs with various organizations including; UN Agencies, INGOs and international development organizations. Throughout her career, she has implemented internal and external communication strategies, led communications campaigns and developed an array of communications materials for several organizations and donors such as; USAID, UN Agencies, ECHO, DFID, SDC, DANIDA, SIDA and private donors. In addition to communications, her skills are complemented through her experience in working in grants management, private sector engagement and operations support.
Jeyda holds Master´s Degree in Media and Public Relations from Leicester University in the United Kingdom with two awards for best overall student and best dissertation. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Politics and Business Management from Monash University in Australia. She is fluent in English, Turkish and has working knowledge of Spanish.
