Jim Jaspe is the senior GIS and software developer for iMMAP activities in Yemen. He serves as a technical lead in producing and executing the functional and high-quality software solutions iMMAP deploys in coordination with external partners. He also maintains and troubleshoots software products and solutions to ensure the smooth implementation of daily activities.
Jim is an experienced developer, having worked with UN agencies in Europe for 8 years as well as working as a consultant GIS developer in Philippines for 15 years.
Jim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the Systems Plus Computer College in the Philippines. Furthermore, holds a Graduate Certificate and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Geographic Information Science from the Northwest Missouri State University in the USA. Jim’s is fluent in Tagalog, English and Italian.
