Johnson is the senior information manager and analyst project lead for the COVID-19 Situation Analysis project, based in Abuja, Nigeria. In his role, Johnson is responsible for information management of the COVID-19 related updates of the projects while coordinating with the project leads in other countries and project stakeholders.
Prior to this position, Johnson was iMMAP's information management officer in Nigeria. Johnson has over a decade of experience in the fields of monitoring and evaluation and information management. Prior to joining iMMAP, he worked with UNDP for two years in the Early Recovery Sector including as the sector coordinator in Nigeria. He also has over eight years of experience working for various INGOs such as Plan International and Handicap International in Uganda and Gambia.
Johnson holds a Master's Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Ugandan Technology and Management University, a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Statistics from Kyambogo University and a Diploma in Financial Services and Business Computing from Makerere University.
