Jonathan is the project manager (PM) and country representative for Mali. As a part of his role, he ensures that all programmatic and operational activities run smoothly for the project while being responsible for the overall human resource activities and safety and security of personnel.

Jonathan has an extensive experience in project management methodologies, processes, tools, and techniques. He worked in the IT industry, managing software development projects before entering the aid sector in 2013. He built his path around data and evidence-driven decision making to influence organizational strategy. Prior to joining iMMAP, Jonathan was the deputy country director for Premiere Urgence Internationale in Nigeria for three years. Before to that, he was leading program support, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and database management for various organizations such as Action Against Hunger - ACF, International Rescue Committee - IRC, Tetra Tech, Oxfam, Trõcaire, Overseas Development Institute - ODI, Solidarités International in Mali, DR Congo and Burundi.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Management from Bujumbura Light University in Burundi. He is a certified Development Project Manager from the Project Management for Development Institute in Washington DC and a certified Development Program Professional from Project Management for NGOs. He is fluent in English, French and Swahili.
