Mine Action Technical Advisor
Rami is the Mine Action Technical Advisor for Northeast Syria at iMMAP Inc. He is responsible for building up the technical and operational mine action capacities.
Rami has over seven years of working experience with INGO’s and twenty-four years in mine action. Before joining iMMAP Inc., he worked for the Danish Refugees Council in Libya as a technical field manager before becoming the operations manager. He also worked for The HALO Trust in various positions in Syria and Iraq.
Rami holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Mutah University and a master’s degree in human resources management from Jadara University in Jordan. He is fluent in English and Arabic, and has a working knowledge of Romanian.
