Tsegaye Sewinet Belay serves as an Information Management Associate (IMA) within iMMAP Inc. Ethiopia, actively participating in the Humanitarian Information Support Team (HIST). His pivotal role involves providing comprehensive information management support, encompassing the creation of maps, infographics, dashboards, PowerPoint presentations, and the design of online data collection tools. Additionally, he plays a crucial role in standardizing data collection formats for government and non-governmental humanitarian actors operating in Amhara, Ethiopia. Tsegaye's journey with iMMAP Inc. began when he served as an Information Management Officer (IMO), contributing to government humanitarian actors in Information Management before the inception of the HIST platform.

With an impressive career spanning over 18 years, Tsegaye has held various critical roles, including GIS/MIS specialist, GIS officer, Remote Sensing Officer, and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. These positions were within international organizations and government bureaus dedicated to humanitarian and development initiatives. Throughout his extensive professional journey, Tsegaye has adeptly conducted spatial analysis, data management using Excel, and visualization and analysis with Power BI. His expertise extends to geospatial analysis, mapping, information management, evaluation, monitoring, and planning, reflecting his well-rounded skill set.

Tsegaye holds an MSc in Geo-information from the University of Bahir Dar, Ethiopia; earned in 2009, and completed his undergraduate studies in Geography at the same institution. He possesses excellent fluency in both Amharic and English.
