Usman is the National Capacity Building Officer at iMMAP Nigeria.
Before joining iMMAP, he was a Senior Information Management Assistant at the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) , and a volunteer for World Food Program (WFP) Area Giwa Barack, Maiduguri, Borno State.
Prior to his UN experience, Usman was a lecturer and an IT instructor/ Course Coordinator.
Usman holds a Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology from Kampala University. He also holds multiple diplomas from training and seminars in relevant topics to iMMAP and the humanitarian sector, such as data management, GIS, and Humanitarian Information Management. He participated in the Humanitarian Information Management Training course organized by OCHA and iMMAP.
